Applying for Funding for a Colloquium or Seminar Speaker and/or Scheduling a Colloquium Speaker
For Colloquium speakers first check the current schedule for open dates.
Fill out this form 4 weeks in advance and send to Phil and Margaret. Please fill it out even if you are not requesting funds and for virtual colloquium.
The Visitors and Colloquium Committee will review your request and make a recommendation to the Chair of the Department about funding.

Note that typically each faculty member can receive support for one colloquium speaker or two seminar speakers ($900 max) in each academic year. Also, faculty with active funding are expected to contribute a good portion of their visitor’s expenses.
