My research lies in the fields of Numerical Analysis and Numerical Linear Algebra. I am advised by Dr. Sara Pollock. I am focused on accelerating iterative methods for the generalized eigenvalue problem. I am particularly interested in problems involving large and sparse symmetric matrices. Currently, I am working on accelerating Golub and Ye’s inverse-free Krylov subspace method using momentum-type acceleration inspired by Nesterov accelerated steepest descent and Polyak’s heavy-ball method.
I have presented my work at the at the 2024 Southeast ACM Student Workshop poster session, the SIAM CSE25 poster session, and the Third Joint SIAM/CAIMS Annual Meetings poster session.
