My research focuses geographically on Europe and the European Union. Substantively my primary interests are political institutions, and comparative legislatures in particular. Current research projects include an analysis on the EU Council as a legislative body within the DEUBAL multilateral research project, an examination of the effiveness of the EU Commission as an agenda setter within the EU political process and a larger book project on comparative legislatures.
