Areas of Interest / Expertises

Modern Brazilian literature, especially contemporary lyric. Inter-American studies. Luso-Brazilian culture/civilization. Brazilian/Latin American song/popular music. Translation.

Books published Spring 2022:  full translation of Toda Poesia by Paulo Leminski, with Ivan Justen Santana. The complete poems and some critical apparatus. ALL POETRY, New London Librarium (sells via Amazon Books) / Chico Buarque’s First Chico Buarque (on the 1978 LP) in Bloomsbury Academic, Brazil 33 1/3 series. The press has its own webspace and a page for each book // Designs: Blueprints of Floorplans of a Provisional Residence (poems assembled in 2001 in Gainesville, now published by cyberwit; also sells via Amazon).
