About the Contributors

The Tacitus Encyclopedia is an international, multi-generational effort.


As of July 2018, there are 164 contributors from five continents, representing Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and 27 of the 50 United States. Contributors range from an advanced undergraduate to emeriti professors, high school teachers, and independent scholars.
